Sofia is the sustainability, design and branding lead on all Threshold projects. Working with Threshold’s design and architect partners, she thoughtfully curates designs that are both functional and aesthetically pleasing. She works at the intersection of sustainability, economic feasibility and design. Bringing a bi-cultural lens to the design process, she enjoys considering what makes a space truly and broadly inclusive.

Sofia has undergraduate and graduate degrees in cultural anthropology, focusing on development studies. She has an MA in Sustainability Leadership for the Built Environment from the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL). Prior to joining Threshold she was a long time environmental educator in the San Francisco Bay area.
