Sean oversees architectural design, documentation, and passive building practices at Threshold. Having expertise in architecture, sustainability, and real estate development gives Sean the rare ability to approach projects from a value, performance, and social impact standpoint.

Sean is interested in bringing design-thinking and an integrated design process to solve complex problems. He is particularly interested in using integrated project delivery methods to deliver high-performance architecture and maximize value for all stakeholders. Sean’s focus is on housing, particularly low-rise high-density housing.

Sean is a registered architect (WI) and a certified passive house consultant (Phius). He holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Minnesota and a Master of Science in Real Estate and Urban Land Economics from the University of Wisconsin- Madison.
